Stanton T. FriedmanNuclear Physicist-Lecturer “Inducted into the UFO Hall of Fame of Roswell, NM, in July 2010” Nuclear Physicist-Lecturer Stanton T. Friedman received his BSc. and MSc. Degrees in physics from the University of Chicago in 1955 and 1956. He was employed for 14 years as a nuclear physicist by such companies as GE, GM, Westinghouse, TRW Systems, Aerojet General Nucleonics, and McDonnell Douglas working in highly advanced, classified, or eventually cancelled programs such as nuclear aircraft, fission, and fission rockets, as well as various nuclear power plants for both space and terrestrial applications. Stanton became interested in UFOs in 1958, and since 1967 he has lectured about them at more than 600 colleges and 100 professional groups in 50 U.S. states, 9 Canadian provinces, and 16 other countries in addition to various nuclear consulting efforts. He has published more than 90 UFO papers and has appeared on hundreds of radio and television programs, including Larry King in 2007 and again in 2008 on two occasions, as well as numerous documentaries. He is the original civilian investigator of the Roswell Incident and co-authored Crash at Corona: The Definitive Study of the Roswell Incident. TOP SECRET/MAJIC, his controversial book about the Majestic 12 group, established in 1947 to deal with alien technology, was published in 1996 and has been through six printings. An expanded new edition was published in 2005. Three years earlier in 2002, UFO Magazine of the UK presented Stanton with a Lifetime UFO Achievement Award in Leeds, England. Additionally, he is co-author of the 2007 book, Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience with Kathleen Marden (Betty Hill’s niece). The City of Fredericton, New Brunswick declared August 27, 2007 as Stanton Friedman Day. Published in June of 2008, Stanton’s book Flying Saucers and Science is in its 3rd printing. Science Was Wrong, published in June of 2010, is Stanton’s newest book which was also co-authored with Kathleen Marden. Currently, a new feature film project, entitled Majic Men, is underway that is based on both Stanton’s TOP SECRET/MAJIC and Donald Schmitt’s Witness to Roswell, as well as their lives and research.
