Bryce ZabelCNN correspondent-turned-screenwriter Bryce Zabel is currently the co-author, with Richard Dolan, of A.D. After Disclosure: The People’s Guide to Life After Contact. He has created five primetime network series, notably NBC’s Emmy-winning UFO series Dark Skies, to be released on DVD in 2011. Zabel also wrote and produced Syfy’s first original film, Official Denial, about Majestic-12, contributed the UFO origin for Superman to Lois and Clark, and worked on the development team on the Spielberg-produced abduction miniseries, Taken. In 2008, Zabel received the Writers Guild of America (WGA) award for writing the Hallmark mini-series, Pandemic. He has written multiple studio feature scripts, receiving credit on two produced films, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. Zabel served as the elected chairman/CEO of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and was responsible for the post 9/11 Emmy awards postponements. He has been an award-winning on-air PBS investigative reporter, an adjunct professor at the USC School of Cinematic Arts and is a member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA). In 2010, he produced Need-to-Know: The UFO Disclosure Song. He is currently developing Majic Men, about the Roswell investigation, based on book and life rights for Stanton Friedman and Don Schmitt.
